Screening tests are health checks that are meant mainly for sign-and-symptom-free healthy men and women at a certain age for the early detection of breast, cervical, or colon cancer.
Screening is free for all insured and uninsured people who belong to the screening target group for a given year.
Further necessary testing and treatment is also free if the screening reveals the need for them.
